A 1940s end of terrace home in need of complete modernisation & renovation with an extension to include the front & rear gardens, had not been touched in many years – leaving it a dark and pokey dwelling of a by-gone era.
This project consisted of a complete overhaul. Rooms were extended, a new kitchen was designed & implemented in a new extension. New floors were laid everywhere & all the unbalanced walls were rendered & re-pointed. A small shower/ W.C. room was installed downstairs. A new large bathroom brings a feel of modernity & luxury to include both a seperate bath & shower. Bespoke wardrobes of oak with built in work stations contribute to the functionality of the bedrooms and provide ample storage. The attic was insulated and floor boards were installed to add additional much needed storage space with drop-down ladder access. The front garden of grass and wild bushes were removed to be replaced with an open paved parking bay – as parking in the area is highly restricted. The rear garden was cleared out & laid with sandstone slabs indented with blue LED lights to give a clean & maintainable space for barbeques & summer socialising.
